ITH - A PLACE WHERE HOSPITALITY IS NUTURED AND PRACTICED
Sometimes we think that we as individuals are the best in offering hospitality to strangers, not only from one country, but 20 different countries with hundreds of different cultures!. Bravo ITH Management. I have to say that from the day Ms. Andreas Jochler, welcomed me to Kavaliershaus, I felt I was at home away from home!. Thank you for being so organise, a lesson that I will carry with me home.
The Kavalierhaus team are
amazing, with their friendliness, perfect hygiene maintenace and above all meals
and "my favourite soup"
What a dedicated and experienced Instructors and lecturers drawn from the hospitality industry around Europe Sometimes you cant imagine sitting in class for 4 - 5 hours. But the way these lecturers do their thing stimulate a learning desire that you may think of staying inthe class the whole day.
The diversity of student makes it more interesting, when students share their various experiences and knowledge in class. I beleieve this ITH48 batch are the most dynamic group that has ever been to this mighty Institution.
But above all i have acquired a lot of lesson that I believe will help me improve hospitality industry in Uganda.
What a contrast with my home City Kampala! The cleanest city I have ever been to with the most efficient means of transport, however time is everything even in the buses. The only challenge was to cope up with weekends where all shops and supermarkets are closed in contrast with my country where businesses are opened 24 hours a day, 7 adys a week and 265 days a year. No activities on these days here in Salzburg!
regardless of all these, Salzburg is a city of fun, a city that gave birth to famous people and history in Europe. It is the birth place of Mortzart, the famous composer with great legacy and the scene where Sound of Music, with the famous Bonn TrapP family was directed and acted.
This has made it an opera City where tourists flocks from all over the word to come and share the moment of Mortzart in Salzburg.
So spectacular trip, intertwining amidst mountain and Wacau vine yards, to the Loisum wine museum. A sight that I had never imagine to come across. Mr. Ola Abdul and Ms. Andreas as usual where so spectacular during this trip.
Then came Vienna’s City whic is location in the geographic centre of Europe earning its prominence as one of the Headquarter of the United
Nation and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries, is the capital city of this beautiful country, Austria.
The ancient Palaces, the history, the concert houses, the architecture and Hotels are one of the world greatest thing to learn and know. It was a life time experience for me. looking forward to the up comming experiences.
